Fuel Up, Fly Out

In an effort to streamline operations, AKS Aviation has transitioned from utilizing ACI’s fuel truck service to a self-serve fueling system at KSBP.

Effective immediately, all AKS aircraft are now equipped with designated fuel cards. These cards are to be used exclusively at the self-serve fuel pump on the West Side (row Juliet). When refueling, you must swipe the aircraft’s assigned fuel card at the pump to cover the cost of the fuel. There is no need to collect a receipt after fueling.

No changes have been implemented for fuel purchases made off-field (airports other than KSBP). In these instances, you are still required to pay for fuel upfront and submit a reimbursement request to AKS Aviation with appropriate documentation.

To ensure smooth operations and avoid unnecessary delays, please include sufficient time for fueling in your flight planning.
